Setting up your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone
Step 1: Open the Samsung Pay app*, and register with your Samsung Account.
Step 2: Choose your security preference, IRIS**, Fingerprint or PIN, and enter this to set up Samsung Pay.
Step 3: Click Add Card, take a snap of your Cornercard UK and authenticate where necessary.
All done! Head to your favourite shops, restaurants & bars to see how easy it is to pay.
*If you cannot locate the app on your phone, please visit Galaxy apps to download Samsung Pay.
**IRIS security is available on the Galaxy S9, S9+, Note9, S8 and S8+.
Setting up your Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch
Step 1: From your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone, open apps, Samsung Gear and tap on Samsung Pay. You may be asked to tap Install Samsung Pay.
The remaining registration steps are the same steps used when registering a card in the Samsung Pay app on your Phone.
Samsung Pay requires that the smartwatch has a security Screen Lock PIN active to use the service; If you do not currently have one, you will be asked to set one up.
Samsung devices must be running Android 4.4 or higher
Samsung device must have the most up-to-date version of the Samsung Gear App installed
Good to know
You'll need to set up Samsung Pay for your smartphone and watch separately, as tokens are not interchangeable between devices. Refer to our FAQ for a more detailed description of the setup for Samsung Pay.
Samsung Pay is currently available with Samsung Galaxy S9+, S9, Note8, S8+, S8, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+*, S6 edge, S6, A8, A6, A5 2017 & A3 2017 and Samsung Gear S3 & Samsung Gear Sport via software update
*Available on Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 edge and S6 edge+ devices which have the Android Nougat 7.0 software update.
